EU:n hallintotuomioistuimet huolissaan Puolan tuomioistuinten tilasta

Euroopan unionin ylimpien hallintotuomioistuinten järjestö on ilmaissut tukensa Puolan korkeimmalle hallinto-oikeudelle.

ACA-Europe on puheenjohtajansa
kirjeellä komission ensimmäiselle varapuheenjohtaja Frans Timmermansille
jakanut komission syvän huolen Puolan oikeuslaitoksen perustuslaillisen
aseman vaarantumisesta.

ACA-Europe on ilmaissut tukensa jäsentuomioistuimelleen Puolan korkeimmalle hallinto-oikeudelle.

“We fully support the Polish member of ACA-Europe, the Supreme Administrative Court, whose members have recently, in a public resolution, taken issue with proposals that challenge the independence of the courts. The independence of the judiciary is not only a guarantee of the rights and freedoms of Polish citizens, but it also is one of the main fundaments of the European Union and the democratic rule of law on which it is based.”
